Frequently Asked Questions

Insights Discovery is a personality profiling tool based on Carl Gustav Jung’s psychological type theory. It uses four colour energies — Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green and Cool Blue — to help people better understand themselves and others.

You complete an online questionnaire (the evaluator). Based on your answers, a personal profile is generated that highlights your behavioural preferences and development opportunities.

Each colour represents a distinct behavioural style:

Fiery Red – direct and results-oriented

Sunshine Yellow – sociable and enthusiastic

Earth Green – supportive and caring

Cool Blue – analytical and precise

Nearly everyone uses a blend of all four energies. Typically, one or two tend to be more dominant.

We will send you a personal link to complete the online evaluator. Once it is finished, you will receive your profile in PDF format during the training.

Completing the evaluator typically takes 15–20 minutes. It consists of 25 sections, each with four statements. In every section, you choose the statement that sounds most like you and the one that sounds least like you. The evaluator is available in Estonian and, on request, also in other languages.

No. Although all three are personality assessment tools, Insights Discovery focuses on colour energies and is more directly based on Jung’s original theory than MBTI or DiSC.

Your profile will remain accessible to you at all times. The profile itself does not expire, but many people choose to retake the evaluator every 3–5 years, as personal growth and life changes can influence the results.

There is no official free version. Some colour-based tests found online may look similar, but they are not scientifically validated like the official Insights Discovery profiles.
